For the first time on the seventh day of the war, our military went on the offensive, and this is not the last offensive. About it at the briefing Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the President’s Office, said.
“JFO zone. Good news there. Most of our fighters are holding their positions, and one of our brigades has even advanced to the outskirts of Gorlovka. Now they are gaining ground there, they may develop an offensive. For the first time in seven days of the war, our units went on the offensive in a separate sector, and I think that this is not the last offensive. And the time will come when we will liberate our lands, and not just defend,” he said.
The situation in the Donbass
In Trekhizbenka, Luhansk region, Russian invaders tried to break through the defense of the Ukrainian troops. As a result, our military destroyed the equipment of the Russian Federation.
In the Chernihiv direction, the Ukrainian military managed to hold the defense and repel the breakthrough of Russian troops. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny announced this on his Facebook page.
The Russian invaders in the war against Ukraine switched to terror tactics. The cities of Volnovakha, Severodonetsk and others are under the total crushing fire of the enemy. There is a real humanitarian catastrophe. Residential areas are being shelled, there is no water supply and electricity supply. People are forced to constantly be in basements without water and food. Among them are women, children, the elderly, the sick, people with disabilities.
