Dynamo called it unacceptable to persuade players to terminate contracts – Kommersant
Declining players to terminate or suspend existing contracts by other clubs is “unacceptable and unacceptable,” representatives of FC Dynamo believe.
So the team commented on the signing of the football player Guillermo Varela contract with the Brazilian Flamengo. Previously, as reported mass mediawho played for the Moscow “Dynamo”, the defender left the location of the “white-blue” and flew out of Russia without notifying the club’s management.
“We at Dynamo are convinced that healthy business relations between clubs should always be based on mutual respect. We consider it unacceptable and unacceptable when individual clubs persuade players to terminate or suspend existing employment contracts.
In such cases, we reserve the right to defend our interests in international sports institutions, ”the Dynamo press service said in a statement, cited by TASS. The text explains that Guillermo Varela notified the club of the suspension of his contract for the upcoming season a day after he left the country.
In March, the International Football Federation (FIFA) allowed foreign players playing in the clubs of the Russian Premier League to terminate contracts with teams unilaterally.
At the same time, the penalties provided for by the regulations for violation of contractual obligations will not be imposed on the players. Initially, the right to unilaterally terminate contracts was valid until June 30, 2022, but later the term was extended for a year.
